FitnessReadyAI — AI-Powered Personalized Fitness Plans
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how BAM Innovations LLC, a Michigan limited liability company doing business as FitnessReadyAI ("FitnessReadyAI," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about you when you access or use our website at https://fitnessreadyai.com (the "Site"), the associated web application, AI-powered fitness planning services, and any related features or services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service. This Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service.
We collect several categories of information to provide, improve, and personalize the Service:
When you create a profile or account, we collect information such as your name, email address, password (hashed), and profile details you voluntarily provide, including fitness goals (e.g., muscle gain, fat loss, event prep), available equipment, training schedule and time constraints, experience level, reported injuries or physical limitations, and any other preferences or notes you add.
This includes workout logs, progress entries, completed sessions, feedback you provide to the AI coach (including natural language commands and instructions such as "Move leg day to Friday" or "Swap burpees for low-impact alternatives"), custom plan modifications, and any other content or data you submit while using the Service. This data is essential for the AI to generate, adapt, and improve your personalized fitness plans over time.
If you use the optional food and nutrition tracking features, we also collect the meals and food items you log (including foods you find by searching food databases, scanning product barcodes, or entering custom items) and the calorie and macronutrient (protein, carbohydrate, and fat) entries and targets you record. When you search for a food or scan a barcode, we transmit the search term or barcode digits to third-party food databases (such as the U.S. Department of Agriculture FoodData Central and Open Food Facts) to retrieve nutrition information; those providers' handling of such requests is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including device and browser type, operating system, IP address, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, clickstream data, and interactions with features of the Service. We may also use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies (see Section 4).
If you subscribe to a paid plan, our third-party payment processor (e.g., Stripe) collects your payment card details or other billing information. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers; we receive limited information such as the last four digits, card type, and transaction status for account management and support purposes.
We may receive information about you from third-party sources, such as analytics providers, advertising partners (if applicable), or when you interact with us on social media or other platforms. We may combine this information with data we collect directly.
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
We do not sell your personal information. We may share or disclose information in the following circumstances:
We share information with trusted third-party vendors, contractors, and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and infrastructure, payment processing (Stripe), email delivery, customer support tools, analytics, and AI/model hosting or inference providers. These parties are contractually obligated to use the information only for the purposes we specify and to protect it with appropriate safeguards.
We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to: (a) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; (b) enforce our Terms of Service or other agreements; (c) detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or (d) protect the rights, property, or safety of FitnessReadyAI, our users, or the public.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred to a successor or acquiring entity. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information via email or prominent notice on the Site.
We may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you for research, analytics, marketing, or other purposes. This helps us improve the Service and develop better AI fitness tools without exposing individual user data.
We may share your information for other purposes when we have your consent to do so.
We and our third-party partners use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to collect usage information, remember your preferences, authenticate users, analyze traffic, and deliver a better experience. You can control cookies through your browser settings (though disabling certain cookies may affect functionality of the Service). We may use tools such as Google Analytics or similar services to understand how users interact with the Site and Service.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and secure hosting practices. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity under your account.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. We honor these rights to the extent required by law:
To exercise any of these rights, please email [email protected] with "Privacy Request" in the subject line and provide sufficient information for us to verify your identity and process your request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 30–45 days).
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations (including tax, accounting, and record-keeping requirements), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required or permitted by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., aggregated, de-identified data used to improve our AI models).
The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at [email protected] so we can take appropriate action. Our Terms of Service require users to be at least 18 (or 13–17 with parental/guardian consent and involvement).
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers are located. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries as described in this Policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or the Service. We will post the updated Policy on the Site with a new effective date. For material changes, we will provide notice by email (if you have an account) or by prominent notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
